NSW: Parliament to pay tribute to the late Jim Anderson tomorrow
SYDNEY, April 29 AAP - The NSW Parliament will pay tribute tomorrow to the late LaborMP for Londonderry, Jim Anderson, who died on the morning of the state election last month.
Premier Bob Carr, Opposition Leader John Brogden and other MPs were originally expectedto speak about Mr Anderson's career and achievements when parliament reconvened today.
But a spokesman for House Leader Carl Scully said the condolence motion would takeplace tomorrow, after question time, at the request of Mr Anderson's family.
A by-election for Mr Anderson's former seat of Londonderry has been set for May 31.
